Working with Chelsea
What are you looking for in an agent?
Someone who will remind you 16 showings in that you said you don't like noisy streets and that house won't work for you? Someone who will look into the cost of the renovation you are expecting? Someone who doesn't leave you to do the guesswork? Someone who looks into the insurance quote before you put an offer in? Someone who will estimate your cost and strategy prior to listing instead of chasing the market? Someone who listens to your requirements and reminds you to stay the course or suggests how to successfully pivot?
Yes?
Then, let me introduce myself to you.
My name is Chelsea Kurtz.
Originally, I began my passion for real estate while stationed in Hawai'i in 2017 with my husband. I worked alongside a local architect who renovates luxury homes. This gave me the knowledge and experience to help realize a homeowner's dream. I moved back to Coastal North Carolina in 2019 and I have been serving the local community since then.
I studied at UNC Wilmington, earning a Bachelor's in political science and a Master's degree in Conflict Management and Negotiation. I give credit to my Master's degree for excellent negotiation tactics and people skills. Because our region is full of second homes, a retirement destination for many and investment heavy for military and beach homes is also a certified Resort and Second Home Specialist.
